Camp Helen State Park is dog-friendly. Leashed dogs are permitted on the park’s trails, picnic areas, and around Lake Powell. They are not allowed on the beach or inside park buildings. Dogs must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

Summers in PCB are hot and humid, with daytime highs reaching the upper 80s to mid-90s (30°C to 35°C). Afternoon thunderstorms are frequent but typically short-lived, although they can be intense.

Fall (September to November)
